About Us

Calibre’ Yacht Finishing, LLC was started in 1998 by Kevin Haines. Prior to starting Calibre’, Kevin had spent 10 years at Palmer Johnson as the new construction fairing and paint department foreman. Calibre’s first projects included three new construction yachts with Trinity in New Orleans as well as assisting the Burger Paint Team in meeting their deadlines. After several successful projects at Burger Boat in Manitowoc, WI; the Calibre’ team moved all members to Burger to handle all of their exterior finishing exclusively. Calibre’ has been at Burger Boat ever since, successfully completing over 20 of their last projects. In addition to the work at Burger, Calibre’ was also able to work on two new construction projects for Peer Gynt Yachts in Turkey and several projects for Palmer Johnson in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
